Updated: August 21, 2010, 4:15 AM
WARSAW—Two Warsaw women are facing felony drug charges following separate arrests Thursday and Friday by members of the Wyoming County Drug Task Force.
Task force officials announced the arrest Friday of Marcella F. Greene, 25, of North Main Street, on various felony charges of criminal possession and sale of a controlled substance after she allegedly sold cocaine to an undercover officer last November in the Town of Covington. She also is accused of selling the prescription drug clonazepam to an undercover officer the month before in Warsaw.
Thursday, Danielle M. Balbick, 28, of Miller Road, was charged with criminal sale and possession of a controlled substance for allegedly selling hydrocodone to an undercover officer in Perry last August and selling the prescription drug buprenorphine in Warsaw last July.
Green was arraigned and taken to Wyoming County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash bail pending a future court date. Balbick was arraigned and also sent to Wyoming County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail with a future court date, officials said.
