Felony DWI plea results in weekends in jail

LOCKPORT—A North Tonawanda man was sentenced Tuesday to four months of weekends in jail, a $5,000 fine and five years’ probation for driving drunk on Christmas Eve.
Jason C. Ingalsbe, 25, of Center Avenue, had pleaded guilty before Niagara County Judge Sara Sheldon Sperrazza to a felony count of driving while intoxicated. Ingalsbe, a former Grand Island resident, was arrested in North Tonawanda.
In another case before Sperrazza on Tuesday, Douglas T. Frew, 46, of Chestnut Street, Lockport, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor DWI and was scheduled for sentencing Sept. 15. Frew was arrested Dec. 7 on Hollenbeck Road in Royalton.
