Updated: August 21, 2010, 4:01 AM
PERRY—A 48-year-old woman was killed and three others were sent to the hospital in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday morning on slippery roads in the Town of Perry, state police in Warsaw said.
Susanne Bzduch, of Perry, was pronounced dead at the scene by Wyoming County Coroner Michael Smith. The crash occurred at about 8 a. m. on Route 20A near Smith Road, police said.
Stormie Myers, 28, of Perry, who was driving a Chevrolet pickup west on 20A, lost control on the slippery road, police said, crossing into oncoming traffic and striking an eastbound Dodge Caravan, in which Bzduch was a front-seat passenger.
Myers and the driver of the Dodge Caravan, Danielle Heubusch, 36, of Warsaw, were taken to Erie County Medical Center, Buffalo, for treatment of injuries, police said.
A passenger in the back seat of the Dodge, Jaclyn Crowley, 22, also of Perry, was taken to Wyoming County Community Hospital, Warsaw, with injuries, police added.
