Snowmobiler suffers severe leg injury

STOCKTON—A Cassadaga man was transferred to Erie County Medical Center, Buffalo, with a severe leg injury suffered in a snowmobile accident early Monday in the Town of Stockton, Chautauqua County sheriff’s officials report.
Charles C. Utegg, 32, was taken to Brooks Memorial Hospital, Dunkirk, then transferred to ECMC, where he was being treated in the emergency room.
Authorities received a 911 call at about 2 a.m. Monday reporting the accident on Bowers Road in the Town of Stockton. Sheriff’s officials said they believe Utegg was heading north through a field when he rolled the snowmobile onto himself.
