Parked motorist charged with DWI, other counts

BATAVIA—A motorist faces driving while intoxicated and other charges after police found him parked on the side of a rural highway.
Gregory M. Brew, 24, of East Bethany, also was charged with operating on a conditional license and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation.
Brew was parked on the shoulder of Bethany Center Road just after 2 a. m. Monday when Genesee County sheriff’s deputies approached his vehicle and charged him.
He is scheduled to appear in Batavia Town Court on Jan. 21.
