MAYVILLE—Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies made two arrests on drunken driving charges Saturday night and early Sunday.

Latika S. Saintkitts, 19, of Jamestown, was stopped on Foote Avenue in Jamestown at about 11:20 p. m. Saturday for speeding and having only one headlight. After an investigation, deputies said they found her to be intoxicated. She was charged with driving while intoxicated, speeding and inadequate headlights.

Bradley W. Byrd, 21, of Dewittville, was stopped on West Main Street in Ripley at about 1 a. m. Sunday for speeding and not signaling a lane change when he passed another vehicle. Deputies said Byrd was driving on a learner’s permit without a licensed operator in the vehicle. He was charged with DWI, unlicensed driving, speeding and failure to signal.
