Updated: August 21, 2010, 3:21 AM
SANBORN—Nearly $1,500 worth of video game equipment was stolen over the holiday break from a Niagara County Community College dormitory room, sheriff’s deputies said.
Someone entered the dorm, located on Saunders Settlement Road, Thanksgiving Day while the resident was out of town, deputies said, stealing an Xbox Elite game console and a Wii game system, along with 13 game cartridges and a television set.
The intruder also scrawled an obscenity in magic marker on the wall of the room, according to reports.
