LOCKPORT—A Niagara Falls man pleading guilty to cocaine possession Tuesday in Niagara County Court was promised a sentence of no more than four years in prison by Judge Sara Sheldon Sperrazza.

Sentencing was set for Jan. 20 for Tremell R. Jordan, 26, of 21st Street, who admitted to fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. He had nearly one-quarter ounce of cocaine in Niagara Falls March 5.

Jordan, a second-time felon, could have been sentenced to up to eight years behind bars, but Sperrazza assented to a plea deal worked out by the attorneys in the case.
