Le Roy woman is shot during domestic dispute

LE ROY—A domestic dispute Wednesday night in this Genesee County community resulted in a shooting that injured a woman.
The incident occurred at about 9:40 p. m. in a home on Keeney Road. Genesee County sheriff’s deputies said that during an argument with Robert M. Jackson, Michelle L. Baumgart grabbed a handgun owned by Jackson, a struggle ensued and Baumgart was shot in the upper arm.
Jackson and two children in the home at the time were not injured, deputies added.
Baumgart was treated in Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester. An investigation is continuing. Further information was unavailable.
