OLAF FUB SEZ: According to writer and photographer James Agee, born on this date in 1909, “God doesn’t believe in the easy way.”

Thanksgiving Thoughts

I’m thankful for so many reasons,

For sunny days and sensual seasons,

For living in comfort, if not in wealth,

For children who are in good health,

For abundant food on a groaning table,

For the fact that I am fairly stable,

Although I am at the junction

Where some are flirting with dysfunction.

But most of all I am thankful for my humanity,

Since I am not the turkey, but simply me.
