LOCKPORT—Michael D. Coe, 36, of Branch Street, was sentenced Tuesday to 1x to four years in prison for burglarizing a house on East Avenue in Gasport on July 17, 2008.

Coe, who had pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of attempted third-degree burglary, was sentenced by Niagara County Judge Matthew J. Murphy III.

In another case before Murphy Tuesday, Brian C. Malcomb, 24, of Cottage Street, Lockport, drew 18 months in prison, with a recommendation for assignment to the boot-camp style “shock incarceration” program.

Malcomb had pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of attempted fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance for selling hydrocodone pills in the City of Lockport Nov. 19, 2008.
