JAMESTOWN—Two Jamestown women were charged Saturday afternoon during a sweep of bars to check for underage drinking, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office reported.

Pricilla J. Wallace, 20, was charged with falsely claiming to be old enough to drink alcohol and underage possession of alcohol with the intent to consume it. Stephanie Ricketts, 26, a bartender in the House That Jack Built on Route 430 in Greenhurst, was charged with prohibited sale of alcohol to a minor.

Officers from the Sheriff’s Office, State Police and Jamestown Police, as well as officials of the State Liquor Authority, issued the women appearance tickets for Ellery Town Court.
