Deliberations in the attempted-murder trial of Adrienne S. March will resume today, after jurors were sequestered at about 10 Thursday night after failing to reach a verdict.

March, 22, of Buffalo, surrendered five days after the shootings of Frank Militello, 27, and Kiele A. Coleman, 23, in Militello’s car outside her St. Lawrence Avenue flat at about 1 p. m. March 16. March maintain Coleman was shot accidentally and Militello in self-defense.

Testifying Wednesday as the only defense witness, March said Militello was supplying her crack cocaine for street sale and the attack was triggered after he pulled out his handgun as they argued over the drug sale money she owed him.

The jury in the courtroom of Erie County Judge Shirley Troutman is considering first-and second-degree attempted-murder counts, and assault and weapons charges. March could face 50 years to life in prison.
