Elma woman, 19, struck crossing Transit Road

An Elma woman was seriously injured shortly before 6 p. m. Friday when struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross Transit Road just north of East Center Road in Elma.
Tinna J. Diebel, 19, was airlifted to Erie County Medical Center and admitted to the intensive care-trauma unit. Her condition was unavailable.
Diebel was struck by a northbound vehicle driven by Kevin A. Gapik, 50, of Cheektowaga. The Erie County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
