Traffic stop results in DWI, other charges

A Springville man has been charged with felony driving while intoxicated after his vehicle was stopped for failure to keep right early Sunday morning, Cattaraugus County sheriff’s officials reported Monday.
Deputies stopped Brian M. Smith, 33, of North Street, on West Yorkshire Road in Yorkshire at about 2:20 a. m. They charged him with felony DWI, failure to keep right, driving with an expired license and an expired inspection sticker and having an open container, according to police reports.
Smith was held on $500 bail following his arraignment.
