Cheektowaga Garden Club will hold its perennial and herb sale and ticketed auction from 10 a. m. to 4 p. m. Saturday and Sunday at Cheektowaga Family Days, Cheektowaga Town Park. Proceeds fund the club’s planting and maintenance of the War of 1812 Cemetery and the perennial garden at the Julia Boyer Reinstein Library.
The second annual Orchard Parkway Garden Walk of more than 40 gardens in two city blocks is scheduled for 9 a. m. to 3 p. m. Saturday. It starts at Orchard Parkway and Main Street, Niagara Falls. Free; no tickets needed.
The fifth annual Lockport in Bloom garden tour of more than 40 homes and gardens, plus city parks, will take place from 10 a. m. to 4 p. m. Saturday and Sunday. Pick up maps at the Kenan Center, 433 Locust St., Lockport. Free and self-guided.
The seventh annual Harlem- Kensington-Cleveland Community Association’s Garden View of about 20 gardens will run from 10 a. m. to 4 p. m. Sunday. Pick up maps at the corner of Darwin Drive and Kensington Avenue, Snyder, in front of the Trillium Courtyard Florist. Donation is $3. The fifth annual Buzz Around Hamburg Garden Walk will take place from 10 a. m. to 4 p. m. Saturday and Sunday. The garden walk teams with the Village of Hamburg Festival of the Arts (arts festival is on Sunday only). Garden vendors and local artists will be set up at Memorial Park on Lake and Union streets. Free maps and brochures for the walk will be available at the park. Information is available at

The Akron in Bloom garden walk is scheduled for noon to 4 p. m. Sunday. It’s a fundraiser for the Newstead Historical Society, which owns and operates the Rich-Twinn Octagon House in the Village of Akron. Presale tickets are $5 (buy them at Bedford’s Greenhouse, 6820 Cedar St., Akron); tickets are $7 the day of tour. The tour begins at the Octagon House, 145 Main St., Akron, where maps will be distributed.
Randy and Rosemary Kroening will open their gardens from 10 a. m. to 4 p. m. Saturday and Sunday, 3216 Wilson- Cambria Road, Wilson. More than 60 varieties of perennials, historic farm machinery, one-room schoolhouse and more. Free.
The Parkview Community Club’s annual garden walk in Tonawanda is scheduled for 1 to 4 p. m. Sunday. Maps will be available at 1498 Ellicott Creek Road at Dexter Terrace, Tonawanda. Participating gardens will be marked with balloons.
East Aurora Garden Club on Monday will car-pool to Pine Ridge Gardens, Orchard Park, followed by an alfresco lunch.
Kenmore Garden Club on Tuesday will travel by bus to a day lily farm and Weaver’s Country Store in Geneva. Lunch at the Belhurst Castle; tour of Rose Hill Mansion.
Evans Garden Club will meet at 6:30 p. m. Tuesday at the Evangola State Park pavilion for a walk led by ranger David McQuay. The 7 p. m. walk will be followed by a trip to the Sunset Grill in Silver Creek. All gardeners welcome; call 947-4571.
East Park Garden Club will meet at 7 p. m. Tuesday at St. Timothy Lutheran Church, 1453 Staley Road, Grand Island.

Cinderella Isle Garden Club will hold its summer picnic Thursday at the Grand Island home of member Melissa Marcus. A business meeting will follow. On July 18, members will tour Brian and Linda Blyth’s garden. For information, call Adele Upton at 773-5847.
