MetLife Auto and Home named Martin Shaughnessy a member of its Advanced Property and Casualty Council, in recognition of his outstanding sales achievement. Shaughnessy is a sales representative in the West Seneca/Cheektowaga sales office, 3 Kelly Drive, Cheektowaga.

Scott Danahy Naylon Insurance Brokers named James C. Lacey and Scott M.Dobosz account executives in its Williamsville office. Both agents formerly worked for Liberty Mutual Insurance. Lacey has more than 32 years of insurance experience. Dobosz is a graduate of Canisius College with a bachelor’s degree in business marketing and management.

Hauptman-Woodward Medical Research Institute named Isabel and Mike Robitaille chairs of “A Riedel Wine Glass Tasting Experience,” to be held on Friday, October 16, 2009 at 6 p. m. at Kleinhans Music Hall. Isabel is the president and CEO of Robitaille Relocation and Real Estate in Williamsville. Mike, a studio analyst for the Buffalo Sabres hockey broadcasts on the MSG network, is a retired NHL defenseman who played with the New York Rangers, Detroit Red Wings, Vancouver Canucks and the Buffalo Sabres. He also is vice president of media relations for the real estate agency.

Western Division Federal Credit Union received the BauerFinancial Exceptional Performance Award. The Summit Park Pharmacy at Wheatfield, formerly the Summit Park Pharmacy, will relocate to 2578 Niagara Falls Blvd., in the Boulder Commons in July.

The state Office of General Services recently awarded a $549,700 construction contract to F. W. Construction Corp. of Webster and a $53,500 electrical contract to Industrial Power&Lighting Corp. of Buffalo to rehabilitate wastewater screening and pumping facilities at the Albion Correctional Facility in Albion. A $504,775 contraction contract was awarded to Strong Tower Construction, dba Koch Corp. of Louisville, Ky., to provide security windows in Building Nos. 14 and 16 at the Orleans Correctional Facility in Albion.
