Mr. and Mrs. Ronald A. Penta of Carolina Shores, N. C., formerly of Grand Island, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a trip to Pebble Beach, Calif. Mr. Penta and Linda Weigele were married Oct. 31, 1959, in Schenectady. He is retired owner of Rogers &Frank Shoes, and Connie Shoes stores, Niagara Falls; she is a retired travel and tourism agent. The couple has three children and four grandchildren.
