OOPS!—Correction on that date for the fundraising event to help with expenses following the unexpected death of Timothy Mark Cwiklinski at age 25 back in May. It’s Saturday from 5 p. m. to midnight in The Aud Sports Bar&Grille, 6036 Transit Road, Depew. Tickets are $30 apiece and cover food, an open bar from 7 to 10 p. m. and happy hour drink prices at other times. For information or donations, call Timothy Koller at 474-9434.

SCHWAN’S WAY—Ever wonder what they have in those Schwan’s home delivery food trucks? See for yourself and buy some from 10 a. m. to 5 p. m. Saturday outside the Aquarium of Niagara, 701 Whirlpool St., Niagara Falls. Part of the proceeds benefit the aquarium, including sales of gift certificates. BARGAIN BIN—Covenant United Methodist Church, 539 Main St., West Seneca, hosts a rummage sale starting at 8 a. m. Saturday, concluding with a bag sale from noon to 1 p. m. Admission is $1.

The Friends of the Arcade Free Library hold a book sale at the library, 365 Main St., from 9 a. m. to 4 p. m. Saturday, with a bag sale beginning at 3 p. m.

ART PLUS—The Cheektowaga Art Guild holds its 45th annual Arts&Crafts Show and Competition from 10 a. m. to 5 p. m. Saturday and Sunday in Cheektowaga Town Park on Harlem Road. Happening in conjunction with the show— Cheektowaga Family Days and the Cheektowaga Garden Club’s annual plant sale.

FLOWER POWER— Speaking of gardens, the Newstead Historical Society presents its annual Akron in Bloom Garden Tour from noon to 4 p. m. Sunday, starting at the Rich-Twinn Octagon House, 145 Main St., Akron. Tickets are $5 in advance from Bedford’s Greenhouse, 6820 Cedar St., Akron, or $7 day of the tour.

WEEKEND MENU—St. Martin’s in the Fields Episcopal Church, 2587 Baseline Road, Grand Island, holds a chicken barbecue and silent auction from 2 to 7:30 p. m. Saturday. Dinners are $8.50. There also will be music, entertainment and children’s activities.

Elma United Methodist Church, 2991 Bowen Road, will host its 61st annual Roast Beef Dinner from 4 to 7 p. m. Saturday. Dinners, which include pie a la mode, are $10 for adults, $5 for kids 4 to 11, free for youngsters under 4. There also will be a baked goods and crafts sale.
