Investor offers hope for a city revitalization
Updated: August 21, 2010, 2:55 AM
The column by Donn Esmonde, “L. A. guy brings green to Buffalo,” introduced a new beginning for Buffalo. The fact that Mike Hananel purchased properties in the city and is fixing them up is a great endorsement for our city. I hope others will take the lead from him. So many good things are able to come from this.
As a senior at St. Joe’s Collegiate Institute, it gives me a sense of relief to know that Buffalo is headed in the right direction. There is a sense of rejuvenation and growth when someone from across the country invests in our city and believes he can help make Buffalo all it can be.
It’s so great to see positive renovations taking place here and it gives me hope that when I finish my college education, I may have the opportunity to return to Buffalo, find employment and someday raise a family in the city that I was raised in and love.
