Woman arrested in assault of 2-month-old daughter

ATTICA—State police at Warsaw arrested a 25-year-old village woman and accused her of assaulting her 2- month-old daughter and leaving the infant with a fractured femur and broken ribs.
Troopers charged Ann M. Kozlowski with second-degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child. The attack, which occurred Oct. 19, left the child hospitalized in Women&Children’s Hospital in Buffalo, troopers said.
Kozlowski was arraigned in Village Court and sent to the Wyoming County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail. State police were assisted in the investigation by the Child Protective Services Unit of the Wyoming County Social Services Department.
