Sarah Foels and Brian Serwicki

Sarah Foels and Brian Serwicki of Orchard Park were united in marriage on Saturday, October 24, 2009 at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Buffalo. Reverend Donald Reidell officiated in the ceremony. A reception followed at The Buffalo Club.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. Thomas and Mrs. Patricia Foels of East Amherst. Parents of the groom are Russell Serwicki of Sloan and Connie Henderson of Ruby, SC.
The couple met at Canisius College as undergraduates, where both received Bachelors degrees.
Sarah also earned a Master of Science in Social Studies Education from Buffalo State College. She teaches eighth grade social studies at Depew Middle School.
Brian has a Masters degree from University at Buffalo and is employed by the East Aurora Union Free School District as a Latin teacher. He is a former Marine with India Company 3rd Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, Buffalo, NY and a 2005 Iraq Deployment combat veteran.
After the wedding, the couple will be at home in Buffalo.
