Well, it has been quite sometime since our august body, the New York State Senate, has deigned to do the people’s business. Why? It comes down to one thing, who is in control of the pork, who can dispense patronage to the friends who help to keep politicians elected. The people’s business be damned when it comes to controlling the give-aways.

I’m a Democrat by registration but I have already made my list and can assure you no incumbent of either party will be getting my vote. I guess we get what we deserve by re-electing these fine public servants.

These fine officials have made our government in this state even more dysfunctional than any rational person could ever believe. Hope to be welcoming them all back to life in the private sector, as soon as possible.
