Nine pending drug cases were presented Monday in Cattaraugus County Court with three defendants entering guilty pleas in their respective indictments.

Frank G. Jones, 27, of Salamanca, was sentenced to two years in prison and two years of post-release supervision after admitting to felony attempted criminal sale of a controlled substance for selling crack cocaine in Salamanca in May 2008, authorities said.

Jones’ sentence will be served after another sentence he received last week for another drug felony, said Edward M. Sharkey, Cattaraugus County district attorney. Jones was sentenced as a second drug felony offender Monday.

Another man, Leroy Gilbert, 48, of no known address, who sold crack cocaine in Olean in November, will be sentenced in September after entering a guilty plea to attempted criminal sale of a controlled substance.

In a third unrelated case, Laura R. Yeaboah, 26, of Bradford, Pa., will be sentenced in October for her guilty plea to a felony count of criminal possession of marijuana. Sharkey said Yeaboah had more than a half pound of marijuana in Olean in February.

In other news at the court Monday, John M. Peters, 31, of Gowanda, pleaded guilty to two counts of burglary for breaking into to buildings last July, and Joshua E. Evans, 26, of Freedom, was sentenced to six months in jail, five years of probation, a $2,000 fine and had his license revoked for felony aggravated driving while intoxicated. He was driving with a 0.22 percent blood-alcohol level Aug. 16, 2008, in Yorkshire.
