Ready to battle some windmills or a tricky slope? Well, pick up your club and head for a miniature golf outing through tunnels, waterfalls, swinging logs and loop-de-loops. The first putting green was formed at St. Andrews in Scotland in 1867. Each local course has a different set of challenges and this is by no means a complete list of putting palaces. There are lots more out there, so share your favorite course on our blog at www.buffalonews.com/moneysmart
