Q: I enjoyed watching the CBS show “The Ex List,” but there were only three or four episodes, and then it was replaced by “Flashpoint.” Did CBS cancel it?— Briana Sassaman, Robesonia, Pa.
A: The romantic comedy-drama was one of the first series to be axed last season, but star Elizabeth Reaser had a professional upswing shortly afterward with the big-screen success of “Twilight,” in which she also appeared. She reprises the role of Esme Cullen in the upcoming sequel, “New Moon.”
Q: Please tell me what happened to “The Dead Zone.” I watched it for years.— Dan Sparks, Nashville, Ind.
A: The series, inspired by the Stephen King novel and starring Anthony Michael Hall as clairvoyant Johnny Smith, ended its six-season USA Network run in 2007. Repeats can be seen on the Sleuth channel.
Q: What ever happened to Glynnis O’Connor? She made several TV movies, including one with John Travolta, in the 1970s.— Sandy Tolzda, Mission Viejo, Calif.
A: That one would be “The Boy in the Plastic Bubble,” from the era when the actress also was working primarily with Robby Benson in feature films (“Jeremy,” “Ode to Billy Joe”).
O’Connor actually has kept working fairly steadily while raising two daughters. In recent years, the native New Yorker has guest starred in every series in the “Law&Order” franchise.
