The Western New York Hosta Society will present “Hosta Are a Safari,” an accredited American Hosta Society hosta show, Saturday at Menne Nursery, 3100 Niagara Falls Blvd., Amherst. Exhibits accepted from 8 to 10:30 a. m.; anyone can enter. For guidelines and divisions, visit

The Western New York Rose Society will hold its annual rose show from 10 a. m. to 3 p. m. Saturday at the Boulevard Mall. Members will answer horticulture questions. For further information, call Dave Swanka at 833-5549.
Hamburg House and Garden Club will meet at 7:30 p. m. Tuesday at Hamburg United Methodist Church, 107 Main St. Club member Karen Cilano will present a program on orchids, followed by a business meeting. For membership information, call club President Vicki Allen at 649-0516.
The Wheatfield Garden Club will hold its annual tour of members’ gardens Wednesday, followed by an ice cream social and regular meeting.
