OPEN HOUSE:The Weinberg Campus, 2700 N. Forest Road, Getzville, is holding an open house from 10 a. m. to 2 p. m. Saturday to provide senior citizens information about the campus’ many living options, from senior apartments, adult home and assisted living, skilled nursing, rehab, respite, home health care, managed long-term care plan and adult day programs. DRIVING COURSE:Driver’s insurance-and point-reduction course. New York State-certified six-hour program; 8:30 a. m. to 3 p. m. Saturday in Room 218, Duns Scotus Hall, Daemen College, 4380 Main St., Snyder. Seating is limited. To register, call (800) 232-0235 or 636-4151.

SINGLES DANCE:The Justinettes Ladies Auxiliary of Father Justin Council, Knights of Columbus, will hold a singles dance at 8 p. m. Saturday at 2735 Union Road, Cheektowaga. There will be live music by Day Shift, a cash bar, snacks and a 50/50 raffle. Admission is $8. For details, call 835-7117.

SUMMER READING:The Buffalo&Erie County Public Library will host a free Summer Reading Kickoff Block Party from 11 a. m. to 2 p. m. Saturday in the Central Library, 1 Lafayette Square. The party will feature music by Glenn Colton, a story hour, games and crafts.

HOME LOAN PROGRAM: The U. S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development will hold a home loan information program at 7 p. m. Wednesday at the Middleport Fire Hall, 28 Main St. The session will cover property and income eligibility requirements and application forms will be available. Call (315) 477-6436.
