MARILLA CARNIVAL: The Marilla Fire Company Benevolent Association will hold its 86th annual two-day carnival Saturday and Sunday at the firemen’s field at Two Rod Road and West Avenue. The event will include rides, food and several drawings and raffles. Music will be provided by the Naughty Dawg Band from 9 p. m. Friday and New York Rockin’ Revue will play from 9 p. m. Saturday. The event will include a fireworks display at the field at 10 p. m. Friday and Saturday.

OLEAN FIREFIGHTERS FUNDRAISER: The Olean Professional Firefighters Association is selling hot dogs and other refreshments to fund the city’s annual Fourth of July Fireworks Celebration, from 11 a. m. to 5 p. m. Friday at the Olean Area Federal Credit Union, Wayne Street in Olean. Also, the association is seeking volunteers for the day of the event. . CONGRESS ON YOUR CORNER: The office of Rep. Brian Higgins, D-Buffalo, will host satellite hours for Chautauqua County residents Friday from 9 to 11 a. m., Westfield Village Hall, 23 Elm St., Eason Hall, North Room; 11:30 to noon, Portage Hill Apartments, 40 Evans St.; and 1 to 3 p. m., Mayville Community Center, 2 Academy St., Sydney Compton Meeting Room. Constituents will be able to discuss Social Security, veterans affairs, citizenship, immigration or any other matters. For details, call 484-0729.

CELTIC CONCERT: Carnegie Art Center presents the Celtic music of Endymion at 7 p. m. Friday at 240 Goundry St., North Tonawanda. A free-will offering will be taken to benefit exhibitions and programs of the center.
