SOS Badge to Badge, an addiction recovery support group for law enforcement personnel, will meet from 4:30 to 6 p. m. today in the Center for Inquiry, 1310 Sweet Home Road, Amherst. The meeting is open to law enforcement and corrections officers only. Call 636-4869, Ext. 318.

Dr. Sylvia Regalla will talk about “Inflammation and Osteoporosis” at a meeting of the Northtowns Osteoporosis Support Group at 10 a. m. Wednesday in Beechwood Residence, 2235 Millersport Highway, Getzville. All welcome; for information, call 862-2663.

The Erie County Department of Senior Services will hold a six-week “Powerful Tools for Caregivers” program from 1 to 3:30 p. m. on Tuesdays (beginning next Tuesday through July 28) at the Town of Aurora Senior Center, 101 King St., East Aurora. Caregivers will learn how to reduce stress, improve self-confidence, locate helpful resources and balance their lives while taking care of a physically or mentally impaired relative. Free respite care is available for the memory-impaired. The cost of the classes is $25, but there is no charge for members of Independent Health or Blue Cross Blue Shield of Western New York. “Arthritis, Diabetes and Joint Pain” will be presented at 10 a. m. next Tuesday in the Amherst Center for Senior Citizens, 370 John James Audubon Parkway. The free program will be presented by Lyncore Medgroup. For reservations, call 636-3059.
