Former “Saturday Night Live” regular Maya Rudolph is pregnant again, both in real life and on the big screen in “Away We Go.”

But don’t think for a minute that a feature film career or a second baby would stop her from returning to “SNL”. Rudolph, 36, has returned for occasional guest shots after leaving the show in 2007 following a seven-year run. “I talk to Lorne [Michaels] a lot, and he knows where my heart is,” Rudolph said. “And he knows he’s got a real hold on me.”

Rudolph played a pregnant radio-show stage manager in Robert Altman’s 2006 ensemble piece, “A Prairie Home Companion,” while she was expecting her first child with director Paul Thomas Anderson.

She plays another pregnant character in “Away We Go,” her first starring role in a feature film. “I mean, when I read this, it didn’t matter if I’d been pregnant on the screen a million times,” Rudolph said.

“It was so important to the story, and I related so completely to the storyI laughed so hard at the way this depicted this crazy time, when you’re expecting a baby, and all the weirdos that come into your life, and opinions. So, I was happy to put on the belly—the big ol’ belly.”

Rebuilding

Christopher Lloyd plans to rebuild on the Southern California site where wildfire destroyed his house last fall. Lloyd’s $11 million house was among hundreds lost in the fires that swept the state. He spoke about the home while in Montana promoting a new movie, “Call of the Wild 3-D.”

Lloyd says the fires were an “awesome” experience and left the neighborhood looking like a war zone.

The actor, who played the scientist sidekick to Michael J. Fox’s character in the “Back to the Future” movies, says he had been preparing to sell the house so most of his belongings were in storage. Still, he says he lost some pictures, family memorabilia and other personal items.

He says the new house will be better built to withstand wildfires.

A Tim Gunn comic

“Project Runway” devotees have always known that Tim Gunn’s super power is a laserlike sense of good taste. But who knew he’d wind up in a comic book?

Gunn will pop up in the first issue of “Models, INC,” a limited series from Marvel Comics set in the world of high fashion. The storyline involves a museum exhibit of Iron Man’s very fashionable armor.

According to Marvel, Gunn will team up with Iron Man to deal with a villainous threat to the event. “Models, INC” is set to debut Aug. 26, not long after “Project Runway” returns on Aug. 20 with a new location, Los Angeles, and a new cable home, Lifetime.

Out-Foxxed

Is there anything Jamie Foxx can’t conquer? His first try at the Apollo, apparently.

The singer/actor/comedian says the first time he tried his stand-up act on the famed stage, he was roundly booed.

Foxx gave up the goods on himself as the New York City theater celebrated its 75th anniversary this week. He says it wasn’t about his act —the audience heard, “He’s from L. A.,” and just started booing. And he says they were quite animated about it: “They booed me in opera,” he jokes, and then began singing a “boo” riff.

Foxx didn’t get booed offstage at Monday night’s celebration, but says it still remains his favorite memory of the place.
