HELPING HANDS—For the past 2z ye 1/2 r 1/3 , Sherry Yousett of the Town of Lockport, the mother of two teenage boys, has been battling liposarcoma, a particularly aggressive form of cancer. She has undergone multiple surgeries, chemotherapy and radiation. To help pay for her considerable medical expenses, friends and family are holding a fundraising event from 2 to 8 p. m. Saturday at Cambria Volunteer Fire Hall, 4631 Cambria-Wilson Road (Route 425), Lockport.

There will be a basket auction, a 50/50 split, food from 4 to 7 p. m. and live music, including a jam session featuring local musicians Jim Jeckovich, Jamie Holka, Frank Vence and Kevin Connor.
