Prostate cancer event to feature Ruff, Robitaille
Updated: August 20, 2010, 11:44 PM
Buffalo Sabres coach Lindy Ruff and hockey analyst Mike Robitaille are scheduled to participate in Roswell Park Cancer Institute’s second annual “Celebrating You” Prostate Cancer Event from 10 a. m. to noon Saturday.
All prostate cancer survivors and patients, regardless of where they were treated, are invited to attend with a guest in the cancer center’s Research Studies Center.
The event, hosted by the Prostate Cancer Center team at Roswell Park, gives prostate cancer patients and survivors a chance to meet the hockey celebrities and win an autographed Jason Pominville hockey stick and Ryan Miller jersey.
Ruff is the guest speaker, and Robitaille will moderate a panel discussion featuring prostate cancer experts.
For more information or to reserve a spot for the event, call 845-1784, e-mail
