Sardinia man to face charges in Arkansas

A Sardinia man who is wanted on kidnapping charges in Arkansas was apprehended at about 9 a. m. Wednesday by Erie County sheriff’s deputies.
Sheriff’s officials learned that Hot Springs, Ark., police had an outstanding warrant for felony kidnapping and misdemeanor assault charges for Shane Knight, 24, of West Avenue, Sardinia. Knight was found at his home at about 9 a. m. and arrested without incident. He was taken to the Erie County Holding Center pending extradition.
