SENIOR FITNESS: The Delaware Family YMCA will host a senior fitness and education event beginning at 11 a. m. Friday at the Delaware Family YWCA, 2564 Delaware Ave. The free event will begin with an hour-long cardio circuit class, followed by Dr. Joseph Falcone, a specialist in joint replacement at Sister’s Hospital, speaking on the newest technologies in the field of joint replacement. VETERANS OUTREACH: The Erie County Department of Veterans Services will hold an outreach program from 9 to 11 a. m. Saturday at West Seneca Post 735, American Legion, 35 Legion Parkway. RACE FOR A CURE: The Komen Race for the Cure and Roswell Park Cancer Institute invite everyone to join the annual Komen Race for the Cure to Cancer on Saturday. Registration starts at 7 a. m., and the race will begin at Albright-Knox Art Gallery, 1285 Elmwood Ave. Participants can also join “Spit for the Cure” by completing a health history questionnaire and providing a saliva sample. NORTH BUFFALO TOURS: The Parkside Community Association will hold a two-hour walking tour of the historic Parkside neighborhood at 10 a. m. YOUTH PROGRAM: The Sportfishing Aquatic Resources Educational Program will present the Canadaway Creek Conservation Project from 11:30 a. m. to 3 p. m. Saturday at the fire hall, 80 W.
