Police officers heard three shots fired near the Getty gas station at Ontario and Skillen streets Tuesday night, according to Buffalo police.

Police said the shots were fired at a 32-year-old Buffalo man, whose condition was unknown. Police recovered a shell casing and the shooter’s hat.

None of the victim’s friends, with him at the time of the shooting, cooperated with authorities, police said.

The shooter fled with two others in a red, older model sport utility vehicle, police said.
