BETHANY—A Batavia man faces multiple charges after a break-in at a business in April, Genesee County sheriff’s officials said Tuesday.

Michael Jackson, 28, of Seneca Avenue, was arraigned Monday on charges of burglary, criminal mischief and two counts of grand larceny. Jackson is accused of breaking into Holland High Lift in Bethany early April 11. He allegedly caused $1,500 damage to the building and stole items valued at $8,000.

Jackson also allegedly took a pickup truck valued at $19,000. He was sent to Genesee County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail.
