Allegany man, 19, accused in country club burglary

OLEAN—Ryan C. Whitney, 19, of Birch Run Road, Allegany, was arrested Monday afternoon on Wayne Street by Cattaraugus County sheriff’s deputies in connection with a burglary at Birch Run Country Club in the Town of Allegany.
An investigation by deputies led to Whitney, who was charged with third-degree burglary and petit larceny July 8 at the country club when six bottles of liquor were stolen.
He is to appear Oct. 19 in Allegany Town Court for arraignment.
