Orleans jail officer is wanted in attack

NIAGARA FALLS—Police said they are looking for an Orleans County corrections officer who is accused of assaulting his wife inside a room at the Seneca Niagara Hotel late Friday, then warning her not to contact authorities for fear of losing his job. The victim, 44, told police the attack occurred at 11:30 p. m. and the husband fled before police arrived.
