LOCKPORT—A Niagara Falls man who was arrested in the March 12 roundup of alleged members of the Bloods street gang pleaded guilty Thursday in Niagara County Court to dealing cocaine.

Marco J. Gray, 28, of Ninth Street, admitted to third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and was set for sentencing Sept. 10 by Judge Sara Sheldon Sperrazza. Although the maximum sentence for that crime is nine years in prison, Sperrazza accepted the lawyers’ recommendation to sentence Gray to no more than 5 1/2 years.

Gray was charged with making three cocaine sales last year; he admitted to one, which occurred on June 18, 2008.

He was an employee of the state Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation and was wearing that agency’s uniform during the drug deals, a prosecutor charged at an earlier court appearance.
