Configuration Dance Theatre will hold its “Past, Present, Future” fundraiser at 7 p. m. Saturday in St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute, Cullen Center, 845 Kenmore Ave. The event includes guest speaker Virginia Johnson, an auction and a performance at 8 p. m. ••• The “Art for AIDS Orphans” silent auction of artwork and sale of international jewelry and crafts takes place from 6 to 10 p. m. Nov. 20 in the Roycroft Inn, 40 N. Grove St., East Aurora. Auditions

The Garrison Little Theatre will hold open auditions for the comedy “Animal Magnetism” at 7 p. m. Nov. 16 in the Italo-Canadian Club, 1101 Di-Pietro St., Fort Erie, Ont. Theatre in the Mist will hold auditions from 3 to 6 p. m. Nov. 21 for its upcoming production of “An Inspector Calls.” Auditions will take place in the Stella Niagara Auditorium, 4421 Lower River Road (at Pletcher) in Lewiston. Two men (one in his late teens and one in his late ’20s) and two women (one in her early 20s and one from her 40s to 50s) are sought. Calls for Works

NOMAD Art & Lit is seeking artists to donate a small piece of art for the “Give Local” event, which takes place at 7 p. m. Dec. 11 in Starlight Gallery, 340 Delaware Ave. Guests who donate $20 to City Mission will be invited to select a piece of local, original artwork to take home.

Photographs, paintings, drawings, small poetry books, jewelry, small sculptures or anything sized 6-by-6-inches or less is sought. All work should be mounted or ready to hang for window display. Work can be dropped off at the gallery from noon to 5 p. m. Dec. 1 with a show preview beginning Dec. 4. For more information, visit www.nomadbuffalo.com.

Area Artists

The third annual Spotlight On Talent was held Oct. 3 in the Historic Palace Theatre in Lockport. The contestants were of all ages and of many different talents. This year’s winners were: Tony Petrocelli, first place; Olivia Blake Goode, second place; and Eddie Reeb, third place. The judges were Mayor Michael Tucker, Damien Brady and Heather Peck.
