Tasty film

Edible Buffalo magazine has announced the screening of the award-winning documentary “Tableland” on Nov. 2 in the Market Arcade Film and Arts Centre, 639 Main St. The film takes the audience on a culinary expedition in search of the people, place and tastes of North American small-scale sustainable food production.

Following the film, guests will take part in a food tasting showcase by local chefs who will use food from local sources. Among the restaurants represented: Hutch’s, Verbena Grille, Torches, Shango, SAMPLE, Juniper, the Aurora Group Restaurants, the Roycroft Inn, Lake Effect Diner, the Steer, Dug’s Dive and Rich’s. Tickets are $30 in advance; $35 at the door. All proceeds will go to the nonprofit Field & Fork Network.
