Kinky Friedman, the turbulent Texan who didn’t come to Buffalo for 30 years after feminists booed him off the stage at the University at Buffalo, returned in 2012 in triumph. And he must have had a good time here, because he’s back.

The Kinkster, as he has long been affectionately known, returns to the Sportsmen’s Tavern at 7 p.m. Aug. 13.

His show is called “Sewing Seeds of Change.” The title is a decent follow-up to his show last time which was part of his Bi-Polar Tour. The last concert was a lot of fun, need we say that? Kinky sang a lot of songs and told an awful lot of stories about his colorful and eventful life.

Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 at the door. Buck Quigley is opening the show.
