Q: I missed the last episode of “Guiding Light” because I had issues with my DVR. Can you tell me how the show ended?— Lev Youngblood, Denver

A: We’re going to start this answer with a spoiler alert, since there still are ways to see that episode. It was posted on www.cbs.com at the time we wrote this. With that said, here’s how the serial’s conclusion wrapped up: In a sequence that flashed forward one year, Reva and Josh (Kim Zimmer, Robert Newman) signaled their willingness to reunite by meeting at the lighthouse, then they hit the road for an undetermined destination. Mindy and Rick (Krista Tesreau, Michael O’Leary) tied the knot, Lizzie and Bill (Marcy Rylan, Daniel Cosgrove) awaited the arrival of their baby, and Rafe (E. J. Bonilla) came back from military duty ... and met his sister, courtesy of Natalia (Jessica Leccia). Q: What has happened to John Dye since “Touched by an Angel” went off the air?— Howard Hanson, Macomb, Ill.

A: The actor has done very little since the CBS series ended in 2003. He made two movies in 2005, one of which (“Lesser of Three Evils”) went straight to DVD. The other (“Heart of the Beholder”) apparently hasn’t been released. His last listed credit, a 2007 horror picture called “Claudette,” was exhibited at a festival.
