Kid report…

Jon Gosselin says there’s no truth to reports that his eight children have been hurt by the family’s reality TV series.

Both Gosselin and his wife, Kate, have drawn tabloid fire as the couple, their 8-year-old twins and 5-year-old sextuplets continue to appear on the TLC network’s “Jon&Kate Plus 8.” Last week, Pennsylvania’s Labor Department said it was launching a probe to see if the hit show is complying with child labor laws. (TLC said it “fully complies” with state laws and regulations.) Gosselin rejects the idea that his children are being exploited by the TV production. “I don’t even want to use that word, because I think it’s ridiculous,” he told People magazine. “We have healthy, happy, well-adjusted, educated kids. They’re bouncing around and having a good time.”

Jon and Kate deny allegations of martial infidelity, while acknowledging their marriage is struggling in the media glare. “I think all parents, and anyone who is married, are always going to have times when you’re upset with someone,” Jon said. “This is a reality show, so you’re going to see real emotion.”

Whoa, it’s Spanish…

Singer/songwriter Nelly Furtado is set to release her first album recorded entirely in Spanish, according to Billboard magazine.

Furtado, 30, has also announced a Portuguese language album via her My-Space blog. Furtado shot to fame in 2000 with the hit, “I’m Like a Bird.”

The song won her a Grammy for best female pop vocal performance, while her multiplatinum debut album, “Whoa Nelly!,” was also Grammy-nominated. Last year, she secretly married her boyfriend, sound engineer Demacio Castellon.

Sir Paul to sing…

The New York Mets are inviting an old friend to play at their new stadium.

But not just any old friend—Sir Paul McCartney.

The 66-year-old former Beatle will perform the first concerts at Citi Field on July 17 and 18. In a statement, Mc-Cartney says he’s excited to be the first to play the stadium, and he’s “really looking forward to a buzzing show.”

McCartney was a surprise guest last summer for Billy Joel’s concert at Shea Stadium. The previous home of the Mets—shut down to make way for Citi Field—was also where the Beatles performed for a sold-out crowd of screaming fans in 1965.

‘Leaky valve’…

“90210” actress Jennie Garth leads a normal life despite a heart valve problem, husband Peter Facinelli clarifies to People magazine.

“My wife has a leaky valve, which is pretty common. A lot of people have a leaky valve and they don’t even know that they have it,” the 35-year-old “Twilight” star told People at the Manhattan premiere party for his new Showtime series “Nurse Jackie,” starring EdieFalco.

“My wife is an advocate for getting your heart checked, because her father had heart disease, so she found out she has a leaky heart. But there’s really nothing you can do for it, so you just leave it alone,” he told People.

Some reports misconstrued the comments by claiming Garth, 37, suffers from heart disease, he said. “I don’t know how that happened. I was sitting at home with her, and I saw a ticker tape on the news that said, ‘Jennie Garth has heart disease.’ I said, ‘Honey, you didn’t tell me.’ But no, she’s fine. She’s fine.”
