Q: Several years ago, there was a television show called “Once and Again” starring Sela Ward and Billy Campbell. Has it ever been released on DVD? —Esther Salem, Marietta, Ohio

A: The first two seasons of the Emmy-winning ABC drama are available. A release of the third and final season had been planned, but Buena Vista Home Entertainment ultimately decided against it—for a reason we haven’t been able to determine.

Q: Could you tell me how old Irene Ryan was when she played Granny on “The Beverly Hillbillies”?— Harvey Sebesta, Austin, Colo.

A: She was in her 60s throughout the run of the sitcom. Admittedly, Ryan didn’t do much other work during those years to prove just how extensive the makeup was on her when she was Granny, but there definitely was lots of makeup involved.

Q: Can you provide the name of the group that performs the main theme of “CSI: NY” and the name of that particular track?— Earl Boyer, Everett, Wash.

A: As with the themes for all of CBS’ “CSI” shows, it’s the veteran rock group the Who. The tune is its classic “Baba O’Riley.” While the original version was used for early seasons of the show, a remix is now heard under the opening credits.
