The daily dish… a spicy serving of celebrity news
A hectic pace …
Two weeks after the arrival of their daughter Sunday Rose, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have resumed their normal domestic routine.
But these days the pace is just a little more hectic.
Urban played his first show as a dad in Philadelphia, People magazine reported. Fans threw baby gifts onstage and waved signs welcoming Sunday Rose.
As Urban played his guitar while kneeling in front of the crowd, one concertgoer held up a pink baby gift. And Urban, unable to
stop midsolo, never missed a
beat. He leaned over, still playing, and grabbed the package with his teeth. Then, he stood up and with a quick flick of his head, tossed the gift back toward the drums.
“I have a whole new understanding of the term ‘who’s your daddy,’ ” Urban told the crowd.
Back in Nashville, Kidman, 41, is keeping fit with Power Lunch yoga classes touted to revitalize your body and spirit.
Murray to take a dive …
Former “Saturday Night Live” cast member Bill Murray has agreed to parachute from a plane as part of a special appearance at the Chicago Air and Water Show next month.
A spokeswoman for the Mayor’s Office of Special Events says the 57- year-old actor is jumping on behalf of USO of Illinois.
The Chicago native will tandem jump with the Golden Knights skydiving team onto North Avenue Beach on Aug. 15.
Splitsville …
Balthazar Getty, who has been photographed smooching actress Sienna Miller, has announced that he’s splitting from his wife Rosetta Getty, with whom he has four children, People magazine reports.
“The breakdown of a marriage is a very difficult and painful experience especially when children are involved,” he said in a statement. “In light of the fact that many pictures have surfaced in print and on the Internet which has caused myself and my family great embarrassment, I felt it necessary to at least acknowledge publicly that yes indeed my wife and I have separated and I will not be commenting any further.”
The Brothers & Sisters actor, 33, was recently seen with Miller, who was topless, in a boat off the Amalficoast.
A friend told People that Getty’s wife is upset by the public affair. “It’s humiliating,” a friend said.
Williams vs. Omarosa …
Reality TV villain Omarosa sparred with talk show host Wendy Williams in a spat that at one point turned physical.
She appeared on Fox’s “The Wendy Williams Show” to promote her upcoming book but instead spent more time trading insults with the radio personality-turned-talk show host.
“I wanted to throw her off the set,” Williams told the Associated Press.
The altercation started when Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth first walked onto the daytime talk show and said she was displeased with Williams’ introduction of her and would not be disrespected.
“Omarosa wished her career was my career,” Williams said. “Omarosa is a delusional, D-list, pathetic woman.”
