Back in circulation …

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have arrived in the Big Apple.

Jolie was spotted holding daughter Shiloh, 2, in New York City early Thursday morning, while papa Pitt was photographed pushing a covered- up stroller.

Jolie, in town to promote her Clint Eastwood drama “Changeling,” is set to make her first red carpet appearance since welcoming twins Knox and Vivienne at Saturday’s premiere. The premiere also marks the first time the actress has been in the United States since giving birth.

The Jolie-Pitts had been staying at the 10,000-square-foot Palais Parkschloss, which they were renting for $36,600 a week in Berlin as Pitt films the upcoming Quentin Tarantino WWII drama, “Inglorious Bastards.”

Live TV …

Rosie O’Donnell is returning to the small screen.

“Rosie’s Variety Show” will debut as an hourlong live special on NBC on Nov. 26 — the night before Thanksgiving — according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The Repporter says that the show could expand to a full series, depending on viewer reactions.

O’Donnell’s special will feature celebrity guests, musical acts, comedy skits and a prize giveaway for the show’s in-studio and home audiences.

O’Donnell hosted her own syndicated daytime talk show for five years until 2001, then joined ABC’s “The View” in 2006 but famously quit after an on-air feud with Elisabeth Hasselbeck.

Branching out …

David Archuleta is set to make his acting debut in an episode of Nickelodeon’s “iCarly.”

The “American Idol” Season Seven runner-up will play himself, Nickelodeon confirms. Filming started Thursday.

In the episode titled “iRocked the Vote,” Archuleta, 16, plays a contestant on an “Idol”-style show called “America Sings.” He gets a huge spike in votes after winning support in an “iCarly” Web cast.

Paul moves on …

A beaming Paul McCartney declared himself happy with life as he took his girlfriend, Nancy Shevell, to a fashion show staged by his daughter Stella in Paris.

The ex-Beatle, 66, was full of smiles as he sat front row at the show Thursday. Asked about his own life and quest for happiness, he told People magazine, “I’m in a good place, I think.”

Shevell, 48, didn’t sit with Mc- Cartney but has attended several events with him recently, including a charity exhibition and auction of his daughter Mary McCartney’s photography in London and his recent concert in Israel.

McCartney, who endured a stormy divorce earlier this year, cheered and whistled as Stella took her bow on the runway. His eyes were teary as his song, “Maybe I’m Amazed,” closed the show.

Dream ticket …

Stephen Colbert is hoping to swing into the White House — alongside Spider-Man.

The host of Comedy Central’s “The Colbert Report” appears with the web-slinger in an issue of Marvel Comics’ “The Amazing Spider-Man,” out Oct. 15.

As a joke, Colbert had tried but failed to get on both the Democratic and Republican presidential primary ballots in his home state of South Carolina. The consolation prize is a fictional appearance as a major candidate on a make-believe ticket in Spider-Man’s world.
