What: St. Valentine’s Weekend Haunted Pub Crawl Why: This ghost walk, led by Mason Winfield and Co., will include spooky tales of things that go bump in the night— with “liberal breaks for spirits, socializing and supernatural storytelling!” What else: Learn a little history while you walk the streets of Allentown, one of the city’s most interesting areas. Info: Meet at 6:30 p. m. inside Cozumel Grill, 153 Elmwood. Cost is $20 per person.

What: ‘Bug-a-licious’ Insect Food Festival Why: Grubs, crickets, ants and other creeping things will spice up edibles created by Chef Jeff Stewart, who researches insect-inspired recipes actually used in some parts of the world. What else: Not into eating them? Then just watch the 2,000 colorful tropical butterflies fly free in the rain forest setting. Check out the emergence window, where butterflies leave their pupae and try out their brand-new wings. Info: $11.75 for adults; $7.65 for children 6 to 12; children 5 and under admitted free.
