Plot targets Crawford...

Court documents say former supermodel Cindy Crawford and her entrepreneur husband Rande Gerber are the targets of an extortion scheme.

Documents filed Thursday by the FBI and U. S. attorney’s office in U. S. District Court say an acquaintance of the couple’s former nanny has threatened to sell a photo of their then-7-year-old daughter.

The photo was purportedly taken by the couple’s former nanny and shows the girl bound to a chair in revealing clothing.

Cindy Crawford’s spokeswoman Annett Wolf issued a statement saying the photo was taken as part of a game without Crawford’s knowledge.

Crawford, who divorced actor Richard Gere in 1995, married Gerber in 1998. They have two children.

Not Britney on Twitter ...

Britney Spears’ Twitter and MySpace accounts have apparently been hacked.

Messages on her Twitter profile Thursday purported to be from the 27-year-old pop star and claimed she worshipped the devil. The handful of unusual messages were deleted after Spears’ management regained control of the account.

Her Twitter feed boasts more than 3.7 million followers and is updated by herself and her “team” of handlers. A message Thursday apologized for “any offense the hacker’s messages caused.”

Spears’ MySpace account was taken over at about the same time.

Hacked messages have gone out from Spears’ Twitter account before.

This time, Twitter users appeared to suspect something was up. The subject “donthackbritney” was one of the most popular topics on the site Thursday.

Judge sides with J-Lo...

A California judge granted a temporary restraining order Tuesday barring Jennifer Lopez’s first husband and his manager from distributing 11 hours of home video footage the singer-actress claims includes sexual situations.

Lopez claims ex-husband Ojani Noa is exploiting her private life with the footage and the proposed film, “The J. Lo and Ojani Noa Story.”

The order by Superior Court Judge James C.Chalfant also applies to Ed Meyer, who is Noa’s manager.

Lopez and Noa wed in 1997, but the marriage lasted just 11 months.

In 2007, she won $545,000 in damages and attorney fees in another lawsuit that blocked Noa from publishing a ghostwritten tell-all book.

Lopez believes the video footage and proposed film are exploitive and offensive and would damage her career and reputation. Noa disputed the claim.
